Mikal Kartvedt is a stunt professional offering a full compliment of related services including feature and television stunt coordination, commercial stunt driving and multi-car teams (featuring some of the best stuntment and women behind the wheel), and corporate white-knuckle events.

Leadership and aggressive adaptability are cornerstones of Kartvedt's character and skill set. As an independent coordinator he has worked with, and has personal access to the best in the action-biz from Dick Ziker at Stunts Unlimited to Sal Fish of SCORE International. He will stop at nothing to deliver creative design and the safe execution of action at its best, as entertainment.

"This is my third film with him and consistency is the key, nailing down what the director wants each time, every time is what matters in his department; Mikal has never let us down," compliments Richard Middleton, a producer on "The Last Word" starring Ray Romano and Winona Ryder.

Whether commercials, film or television production, clients receive exciting, original, and safely delivered performances from a 15 year union member. Kartvedt has stunt coordinated and ground-pounded as a member of all three performance unions: SAG, AFTRA, & AEA. He has doubled Victor Garber on 'Alias', John Reilly on 'Passions', Zachary Bryan on 'Cold Case', Gary Busey in 'Soft Target', and even Jack Black in an off-road driving sequence from the Foo Fighters music video 'Low'.

Kartvedt partners with powerhouse Matthew Tompkins, founder of WolfClan Entertainment, based in Dallas, Texas. This partnership and Lone star infrastructure creates a combined ability to provide incredible production value for independent films at a fraction of the cost faced by most modified budgets.

"Matthew has been successfully writing, directing, and producing features in Texas for a decade", explains Kartvedt. "Tompkins earned his success through his many accomplishments as a veteran actor in films, television, Broadway, and in over 100 national and regional commercials."

Kartvedt's commercial stunt driving partnership includes full warehousing, transportation, and prep services through auto industry recognized DKO Industries. These full service capabilities have proven valuable to clients like DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagon, Audi, Porsche, Honda (Auto and Motorcycle), Sony (PlayStation and PSP), Budweiser, and many others.

Shooting sites range in locations (and all-season weather) from California, Florida and the Keys, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Chili, S.A., to just about every mountain road, highway, and dry-lake-bed in between. In cooperation with Philip Misson of DKO, Kartvedt has handled literally 'top-secret' manufacturer prototypes to full-production vehicles from the exotic to the economical.

Kartvedt's skills as a stuntman are not limited to professional driving; he has performed high falls from 170 feet, choreographed and performed with all types of small arms: paintball sniper to fully armed SWAT team insertions, good-old-fashioned bare fisted fighting, all forms of ratchet, air ram, and wire work, horse work (western), jet skis, and powerboats.
